Rick began his career in the mortgage industry in the early 1980's in the heart of the Silicon Valley just as it was beginning to boom with the innovation of desktop computing. Companies like Apple, IBM and Intel were dominating the imagination of everyone, including Rick. He set his focus on automating mortgage pricing building what is known today as a “Product Pricing Eligibility" engine, or PPE.
He didn't stop there. As Rick built companies within the industry, he became captivated by the idea of providing mortgage origination companies of all sizes a way to succeed free from the technology boundaries of the day. The result? ReadyPrice. One platform serving every mortgage banking business need.
After launching with his own mortgage company (and few other forward thinking companies), ReadyPrice was ready to go to market. Immediately, it was clear that other mortgage companies felt much the same way he did…they were eager to take back control over their own data, profitability, and ultimately their businesses.
